Toyota is likely to globally launch the Toyota Fortuner Facelift on June 4, 2020, in Thailand. Several images and rendering were going viral on the internet regarding the launch of Facelifted Toyota Fortuner since the spy shots of the Fortuner uploaded on the social media.
The new Fortuner is likely to come with a redesigned front which includes the redesigned front bumper and grille, restyled headlamps with LED lights and slightly redesigned bonnet. The new Fortuner is also set to have new 17-inch alloy wheels. Also, at the rear Fortuner will get new tail lamps and a new bumper. The updates will bring the Fortuner's design more in-line with the newer Toyota SUVs like the RAV4 and the Raise sold abroad.
On the inside, the Fortuner can get more features and a new infotainment system. Other than that no major changes have been reported.
Facelifted Toyota Fortuner is expected to come with the same BS6 complied 2.8-L diesel engine as seen on the current model which makes 177 bhp of power. The international spec Toyota Fortuner gets the same 2.8-L engine but with a different set of tuning, the international spec Toyota Fortuner produces 200 bhp of power.
The refreshed Toyota Fortuner is expected to go sale in India in 2021. While in Thailand and other international markets Toyota will start to sell the facelifted Fortuner this year.
