Mercedes-Bez India today launched two AMGs, The AMG GT-R and AMG C63 Coupe. Mercedes-Benz AMG GT-R is priced at ₹ 2.48 Cr (ex-showroom) while Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe is priced at ₹ 1.33 Cr.

Mercedes-Benz AMG GT-R is powered by M117 4.0-L Bi-Turbo V8 engine which produces 585 PS of power and 700 Nm of torque. The V8 engine is mated to a 7-Speed DSG Transmission. AMG GT-R can attain a top speed of 318 kmph and can do a 0-100 kmph run in just 3.6 seconds.
Mercedes-Benz AMG GT-R is competitor to Nissan GTR, both of these GTRs are priced approximately the same but Nissan GTR has AWD drivetrain while AMG GT-R har an RWD drivetrain. Other main rivals to Mercedes-Benz AMG GT-R include Porsche 911 and BMW M8.
Taking about then Mercedes-Benz AMG C63 Coupe, C63 Coupe is powered by M117 4.0-L Turbocharged V8 engine which produces 470 PS of power and 650 Nm of torque. The V8 engine of AMG C63 is mated to Mercedes's 9G Multi-Clutch Transmission. The Mercedes-Benz AMG C63 Coupe can attain a top speed of 249 kmph and can also do a 0-100 kmph run in 3.6 sec like the AMG GT-R thanks to its 9-Speed Transmission.
Mercedes-Benz Coupe offers six different drive modes: Slippery, Comfort, Sport, Sport+, Race and Individual. AMG C63 Coupe will compete with BMW M4 and Audi RS5.
