Hyundai Tucson to launch after Lockdown Ends

After a long wait, Hyundai has made to launch the Tucson facelift which was debuted at Auto Expo 2020. The new Hyundai Tucson will feature new engines and new exterior and interior.

Hyundai Tucson 2020, the new Tucson will feature two new BS6 complied engines, a BS6 Petrol and a BS6 Diesel engine while the outgoing car has BS4 engines. The Petrol engine is a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder naturally aspirated engine which produces 150 bhp of power and 192 Nm of torque. The Diesel engine is a 2.0-litre 4 cylinder turbo-charged engine which produces 182 bhp of power and 400 Nm of torque.

The Petrol engine will be mated to a 6-speed torque converter from the outgoing model while the Diesel engine will be mated to an all-new 8-speed torque converter unit. The All-Wheel-Drive option will only be available with the top of the line GLS variant, that too with the Diesel engine only.

The front of the Car bears an all-new Hyundai's cascading grille, headlights, taillights, front and rear bumpers. The dimensions and the capacity of Tucson will remain the same as before.

The interior gets an all-new dashboard with 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment with Hyundai's Blue Link car connected features, electronically adjustable front seats and a panoramic sunroof.

The Hyundai Tucson will be launched with two trims, GL and GLE, only the GLE variant will be available with an AWD function. As the car bears a new BS6 complied engines, both Petrol and the Diesel engines will see a price hike from regular BS4 Tucson.

Hyundai Tucson will rival with Honda CR-V and Jeep Compass.
